Santa Monica Studios delayed God of War Laufey from February 16, 2027 to May 20, 2027 on PS5. The shift moves the release back three months.
"We will make the most of each moment until then by putting in the finishing touches and pushing the game to its fullest potential," the developer said in a statement.
The game stars Deborah Ann Woll as Faye, a character described as graceful and nimble compared to Kratos. Jack Quaid from The Boys plays a character named Phranque. God of War Laufey is a third-person action game built around chaining skills and weapons together.
A new Kratos-led game will follow Laufey and pick up where it ends.
