Epic Games is overhauling Fortnite Crew, its monthly subscription service, starting Dec. 5. The $11.99 price remains unchanged, but the benefits structure shifts significantly.
The service now operates on a tiered V-Bucks system based on subscription length. Core tier subscribers (one to two months) receive 1,000 V-Bucks monthly. Bronze tier (three to five months) grants 1,200 V-Bucks. Silver tier (six to 11 months) provides 1,400 V-Bucks. Gold tier (12 or more months) awards 1,600 V-Bucks. Tiers update automatically on Dec. 5 based on consecutive subscription months in the past 12 months.
Epic is removing monthly Crew Pack Outfits entirely. Subscribers who owned past Crew skins will receive all Legacy Styles automatically on Dec. 5. The OG Pass also ends as that game mode concludes. Fortnite OG returns with a fresh format in late 2027, though whether the OG Pass returns remains unclear.
New benefits include XP bonuses. Crew subscribers gain 20 percent additional XP, and their teammates receive 10 percent XP when playing together. Access to all passes, including the battle pass, music pass, LEGO pass, and rocket pass premium, continues as part of the subscription.
Ex-subscribers who rejoin between Dec. 6 and 31 will have their tier set to their most recent continuous subscription level from the past 12 months.
