Massive Entertainment released Echoes of Central Park, a paid expansion for Tom Clancy's The Division 2, on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The studio describes it as the looter shooter's biggest experience since Warlords of New York and larger than Battle for Brooklyn.
The expansion sends players back in time through new locations including Central Park and Upper West Side. Players can bring one of three companions and encounter a darker narrative than previous content. The expansion adds new skill variants, gear, and a fresh end-game activity centered on scavenging gear to survive difficult encounters.
The Deluxe version is currently rated "Negative" on Steam based on 12 user reviews. Players complained that top-tier Prototype gear is not usable in the new content. The late announcement of these restrictions before launch contributed to negative reception. Massive Entertainment has not announced whether changes are planned.
