Phasmophobia's Resonance update will arrive in late November, according to Development Preview #22. An official launch date has not been announced yet, though the update is expected between November 15 and 30.
The update introduces Dowsing Rods, a new equipment item with three tiers designed to help locate bones on maps. Tier I provides general direction, while Tier III pinpoints the exact floor location.
Sound Sensors receive a major overhaul. The truck-mounted map UI now displays precise locations with pulsing circle icons showing where ghosts make noise. One-time sounds appear briefly before vanishing, while looping noises remain visible. The revamped sensor also helps players determine ghost movement speed to aid identification.
Voice Recognition gains the ability to instruct ghosts to interact with nearby assets. Valid phrases now appear in the Journal for reference and work in both voice and text modes.
The map pool system allows players to select multiple maps and filter by size. Small, medium, and large options are now available.
Phasmophobia transitions to Unity 6 with this update. The studio reports this brings stability and performance improvements, plus drastically improved lighting for a more realistic experience.
The patch includes bug fixes, though specific fixes have not been detailed yet and will appear in the patch notes at launch.
