Assassin's Creed: Animus, a board game adaptation of the video game franchise, launched today. The competitive adventure-style board game supports 1-4 players who choose from protagonists across different eras and complete objectives by taking down assassination targets through "memory blocks." Players can approach targets openly or with stealth.

The standard edition costs $65 and features four protagonists: Eivor, Ezio, Altair, and Connor. The Collector's Edition, priced at $229, includes 16 protagonists across 10 eras, adding Edward Kenway, Jacob and Evie Frye, and Kassandra. The Collector's Edition also includes a storage box, acrylic tokens, a metal Piece of Eden, a cloth token bag, special event cards, and an Animus Card Holder.
