Baggy Cat Games confirmed that At Dead Of Night 2: The Great Hugo is "coming (very) soon", without specifying a release date.
The sequel reunites player with Maya as she investigates a Tudor manor house five years after the events of the original game. Maya searches for answers about her experiences at Sea View Hotel and locates a ghost box device similar to one she used there. She contacts her old counsellor Quinn, who recognises the device and knows it was made by an inventor living in the Tudor manor. Quinn warns Maya against pursuing the investigation, but she ignores his advice and proceeds on her own.
The original At Dead Of Night became popular during the pandemic through streamers and content creators including Markiplier, 8-BitRyan, John Wolfe, and DomPlays. The game centered on Jimmy Hall, a hotel landlord trying to recruit an audience for his late-night comedy show and his psychopathic alter ego Hugo Punch.
