FromSoftware has temporarily closed the online servers for Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3 across all platforms due to an unspecified server issue. The studio announced the shutdown on social media but did not provide a timeline for when servers would be restored. The outage affects PvP invasions, summon signs, and in-game player messages.

"We will provide updates once we have information regarding the server restoration time. We apologize for the inconvenience," FromSoftware stated.

This marks another server disruption for the Dark Souls franchise. In 2022, Bandai Namco took all three Dark Souls games offline due to a security vulnerability in Dark Souls 3. Dark Souls 3 went offline again several months later.
