Netflix is developing a PUBG adaptation with Donald Glover set to star, produce, write, and direct. His brother Stephen Glover will co-write and co-produce. Michael Schaefer, an executive producer on Ad Astra and Barbarian, will also join the project alongside Krafton's entertainment staff.
The show has not yet been greenlit or entered development. Details about the plot remain unclear. PUBG launched in 2017 and helped establish the modern battle-royale formula. The game contains lore and narrative elements that could serve as source material for the series.
