Krafton and Netflix announced a live-action PUBG TV series starring Donald Glover, who will also direct, write, and executive produce alongside his brother Stephen Glover as writer and executive producer. Details remain sparse at this stage. A separate animated PUBG series is in development from Adi Shankar, known for Castlevania. Glover voiced Yoshi in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie this year and previously partnered with Ubisoft on a Far Cry 4 trailer. Krafton views PUBG as a connected universe extending beyond the game itself. PUBG remains popular on Steam with over 785,000 peak concurrent users today.
