Fate of the Galaxy is a free Star Wars space combat simulator that runs as a total conversion mod for the open source FreeSpace 2 Open engine. The game features mission-based campaigns during the original trilogy era, playable as both Imperial and Rebel Alliance forces. Players can pilot ships including the X-Wing, Firespray 31, and Naboo starfighters.

The mod launches via the Knossos launcher and requires no copy of FreeSpace 2 to play. It runs on low-end hardware, including systems with integrated graphics like an i5-1145G7 processor without a dedicated GPU.
