Auroch Digital confirmed layoffs affecting roughly 25% of its staff in social media posts that were subsequently deleted. The studio released Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun II this year and has Warhammer Survivors launching in November. In the now-deleted statement, Auroch cited "market conditions that have challenged so many of our fellow developers" as the reason for the restructuring. The studio apologized to affected staff and asked industry partners to consider hiring them, noting their experience ranges from indie shooters to AAA co-development work. Auroch stated that post-launch development on both Boltgun II and Warhammer Survivors will continue despite the staff reduction. The posts appeared on LinkedIn and Twitter but were removed within a day of publication. Rock Paper Shotgun reached out to Auroch Digital for comment and clarification on the deletions.
