It's easy to forget now, but the first Elder Scrolls game had a rough launch back in the day: 'It was a disaster in a lot of ways and somehow built a billion-dollar franchise'

The provided content is insufficient for a news brief. The title references The Elder Scrolls' rough launch and Bethesda's journey to building a billion-dollar franchise, but the actual article excerpt contains only a single fragmentary sentence that doesn't provide concrete facts, figures, quotes, context, or verifiable information about the launch itself. Without substantive sourced material about what made the launch problematic, what happened after, or direct quotes from developers, writing a 150-250 word brief would require inventing details not present in the source material, which violates the assignment requirements.
